These one-of-a-kind custom knife scales are composed of shimmering gold, brown, and bronze pearlescent urethane resin cast in a random pattern around hand-formed, distressed aluminum honeycomb.
Urethane resin is the same durable material that skateboard wheels are made of. It can also be polished to a high luster, making it both tough and beautiful.
The aluminum honeycomb used in these scales has been chemically etched for superior adhesion at the metal/resin interface. They are guaranteed not to separate or delaminate.
