These one-of-a-kind custom knife scales are composed of hand-formed, distressed aluminum honeycomb cast in black, crossed by a river of bright red urethane resin.
Urethane resin is the same durable material that skateboard wheels are made of. It can also be polished to a high luster, making it both tough and beautiful.
The aluminum honeycomb used in these scales has been chemically etched for superior adhesion at the metal/resin interface. They are guaranteed not to separate or delaminate.
