These custom knife scales are composed of a random pattern of hand-formed distressed aluminum honeycomb surrounded by shimmering green, blue, and white urethane resin.
Urethane resin is the same durable material that skateboard wheels are made of. It can also be polished to a high luster, making it both tough and beautiful.
The aluminum honeycomb used in these scales has been chemically etched for superior adhesion at the metal/resin interface. They are guaranteed not to separate or delaminate.
